associated with careful vinification, they produce high quality wines.

Esmero Samarrinho

VINE
SOIL: transition from schist to granite.
CLIMATE: cold winters, very hot and dry summer.
GRAPES VARIETIES: 100% Samarrinho.
VINE AGE: Young (5 years).


OENOLOGY
HARVESTING DATE: mid setember
VINIFICATION: manual harvesting in boxes of 20 kg, sorting in mat of choice; pressing and cold settling for 24 hours; fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature
MATURATION: steel tanks and barriques.

ALCOHOL: 12% vol.  |  TOTAL ACIDITY: 6,5 gr/l  |  RESIDUAL SUGAR: 0,6 gr/l  |  PH: 3,17

TASTING NOTES
COLOR: clear and citric.
AROMA: very complex, with vegetal and herbaceous aromas.
TASTE: intense and long, with excellent acid freshness.
GASTRONOMY: sea dishes with an intense flavor.

Esmero White

OENOLOGY
HARVESTING DATE: mid setember
VINIFICATION: manual harvesting in boxes of 20 kg, sorting in mat of choice; crushing with foot trodden, maceration/fermentation in lagar for 7 days
MATURATION: 18 months in French oak barrels

Mimo Red

GRAPE VARIETIES:  blend with predominance of Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Fêmea, Malvasia Preta...

VINIFICATION: manual harvesting in boxes of 20 kg, sorting in mat of choice; crushing with foot trodden, maceration/fermentation in lagar for 9 days
MATURATION: 18 months in French oak barrels
